about me!!

hi! as you already know, i'm stanley. i'm 21 years old and agender- or something like that, i don't really know how to define my gender to be honest- and that's fine with me lol. i'm a petz enthusiast- and a virtual pet enthusiast in general. i've always been a pretty avid fan of virtual pet games in general- games like neopets, nintendogs, neko atsume (if you can count that??), and the like.

i'm also an artist- i've been doing art for as long as i can remember and mostly specialize in digital illustrations and the like. you can check out my art on both my tumblr and on my toyhouse! i enjoy drawing fanart and also drawing oc art for the most part- i'd be happy if you could take a look.

i have a lot of hobbies to be honest, but i mostly just enjoy creating things for the fun of it, to be honest. petz is kind of perfect to me in that regard- there's pretty much unlimited possibilities with how petz works and i REALLY enjoy that. it's honestly really amazing to me how a little pet sim from the 90's can be so intricate and complex in its coding to the point where it's spawned an entire community of creatives... it's something that makes me really happy.

i'm actually a dog person in real life- but i prefer catz a LOT over dogz. something about them just appeals to me- maybe it's how round they are, lol. they're just so silly....

i'm also an AVID HATER of the ubisoft titles sorry. i have very strong opinions about the direction ubisoft took with the license it bought to petz- it's total wasted potential if you want my opinion. they had the rights to a series of honestly amazing pet games and they just throw it away and slap the name onto games that have nothing to do with the P.F. magic titles.... sigh. but that doesn't matter- the petz community is still alive and well! it's amazing how long this community has thrived- and i hope it continues to thrive for a long, long time :3
